Terms of Service

Karavanta is a matching and coordination service. We present providers' programmes, help you put a route together and coordinate the details of your trip between you and each provider.

The tours, expeditions, flights and transfers themselves are delivered by the providers named on each listing. Your contract for a service is with that provider.

You send a request on the site or build a route in the AI planner. A request does not commit you to anything.

A coordinator checks dates and availability with every provider and sends you a trip confirmation: the programme, the price of each service, and the payment and cancellation terms.

Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been paid under the terms of each provider in your trip.

A route suggested by the AI is a draft, not a final offer. The AI can get details wrong, which is why a coordinator checks every plan.

The total in a plan is calculated automatically from catalogue prices and is an estimate. Services that are not in the catalogue (hotel, meals, flights) are not included.

Prices on the site are "from" prices and depend on dates, group size and the vehicle or aircraft chosen. The exact price for your trip is confirmed by the provider through the coordinator.

Prices are shown in the provider's currency. Unless stated otherwise, flights, visas, insurance and personal expenses are not included.

Karavanta does not take payment for services. You pay each provider directly, against their invoice or payment link, which you receive with your trip confirmation.

The deposit, the due date for the balance and the payment methods differ by provider; we show them before you pay anything.

Karavanta is free for travellers.

Change and cancellation terms are set by each provider. They are shown on the listing and in your trip confirmation.

Refunds are made by the provider who received the payment. If you need to change or cancel a trip, write to us — we will contact all the providers and help sort it out.

Routes in the mountains and the desert depend on the weather. A provider may change the programme or reschedule a departure when safety requires it.

The provider delivering a service is responsible for its quality and safety, and for its vehicles, licences and permits.

We select providers personally: we meet each one and look at how they work. We remove those who let travellers down. If something goes wrong, tell us: we will help you reach the provider and get it resolved.

Karavanta is responsible for its own work — the accuracy of the information we pass on and the coordination — within the limits set by applicable law.

Expeditions, helicopter and jeep tours involve risk. Participant requirements (height, age, health, driving experience, gear) are listed on each listing — please give accurate information about yourself.

On the route, follow the instructions of your guide and instructor. We recommend insurance that covers adventure activities.

Reviews on the site are real: we publish them with permission and state the source. Ratings from third-party platforms are shown with a link to the original.

Texts and photographs belong to Karavanta and the providers. Please do not use them without the owners' consent.

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
